What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and a salted hash of your password (we never store the password itself).
Your media and edits: recordings you upload, footage you import, the previews we generate from them, your project decisions and your exports.
Connection data: if you connect YouTube, an encrypted OAuth refresh token and your channel's name, ID and thumbnail. We request only permission to upload videos and read basic channel information.
Operational data: sign-in sessions (device type, IP address, last activity), and server logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
To run the product: store and process your media, render exports, publish to YouTube when you ask, keep your account secure and prevent abuse. We don't sell personal data and we don't use your footage to train models.
YouTube API Services and Google user data
When you connect a YouTube channel, KickIsrael uses YouTube API Services. By connecting you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What we access: with the youtube.upload permission we upload videos — only the exports you choose to publish, with the title, description, tags, visibility and thumbnail you set. With the youtube.readonly permission we read your channel's ID, name and thumbnail so the app can show which channel is connected. We don't read your other videos, comments, analytics or subscribers.
How it's stored: the OAuth tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) on our servers and used only by our publishing service. Channel details are stored with your account.
Sharing: we don't sell Google user data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. It's used only to provide the publishing feature you asked for.
Revoking access: disconnect YouTube in Settings → Connections at any time — we revoke the token with Google and delete it and the channel details immediately. You can also remove KickIsrael's access from your Google Account permissions page. Deleting your KickIsrael account deletes all Google data we hold.
KickIsrael's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Service providers
Optional AI suggestions: when you ask for title, description and tag suggestions, a few frames of that export, the clip's chat replay and public titles of the reference channels you picked are sent to Anthropic (the Claude API) to write the suggestions. Anthropic doesn't use this data to train models. Google user data is never sent.
Email: if email is configured, account emails (such as password resets) are sent through our mail provider.
Who can see your content
Projects, source recordings and imports are private to your account. An export becomes viewable by others only if you turn on its share link, and you can turn that off at any time.
Files are stored on our servers and accessed through short-lived signed links.
Retention
Imported footage and rendered exports are deleted automatically a limited time after they're ready (currently 24 hours); exports waiting for approval or still uploading to YouTube are kept until that finishes. Unfinished uploads are removed after 48 hours and finished job records after 30 days. When you delete your account, all associated files and records — including any Google data — are deleted.
Your choices
You can update your name, change your password, sign out other devices, disconnect YouTube and delete your account in Settings. For any other request, email support@kickisrael.com.
We answer every message.
